What's New?

Updated App to fix minor issues re: centering of images -- also changed the way large bitmaps are handled to reduce memory load to prevent crashes on older devices.

MOV WARNIZER App

This app was developed to handle compliance issues related to FDA regulations in the Electronic Cigarette industry. Using this app will allow the user to take pictures with their phone camera, or load them from their gallery and apply the federally mandated 'NICOTINE WARNING' with some options.

The app works best when photos are taken via your phones camera using the 4:3 or 16:9 aspect ratios (configurable in your camera's settings, typically also the default setting.)

The app will also take photos from alternate sources, but some distortion may occur if they are not in the desired aspect ratio. Still, the warnings will be properly set at 20% of the total image as per the federal requirement.

The user can choose to apply either a black or white warning (as the requirement says it must be in contrast with the content) and choose to either overlay the warning or to extend the photo by adding the warning to the top.

Overlay - This simply puts the warning overtop of the pixels in your image. If you have important things at the top of your image, the warning may block them.

Extend - This option extends the image by ADDING the warning to the top of the image, rather then slapping it OVER the top of the image. This is good to use when you have important information at the top of the image that you do not want blocked by the warning.

Finally, the user can then save to their phone or share directly to their business pages via facebook and also email.

Easy way to stay compliant with the upcoming regulations that are required on advertisements beginning August 10th.
